There are a few things that you'll need in order to get the most out of this course. You probably already have most of them:

1. A Facebook account: you need a personal profile on Facebook if you want to use Facebook in your professional capacity
2. A Meta Business Manager account: more on this in the next chapter, but you'll want this in order to access tools and separate your professional work from your personal profile
3. A Facebook page: your organisation will need a Facebook page if it is to run ads
4. Facebook pixel installed on your website: more on this later, but you'll need a pixel to run effective ads
5. A payment method: you won't be able to run ads without this

In the next two lectures we'll cover Meta Business Manager and pixels in more detail.
