Hello and welcome

Thanks for signing up to this Coach course, which will equip you with a strong core set of techniques for writing for the web. You may already be doing some of them, perhaps without realising, but by the end of this course you'll have a firm grasp of what makes for good website copywriting.

When we say 'good website copywriting', we're really talking about these three aspects working together in harmony:

  1. Effective copy that engages the audience
  2. Search-optimised copy that raises the website's profile on Google and other search engines
  3. Copy which furthers the organisation's mission

Here's how the course works:

The course is presented in bite-sized chunks. You can binge-study the whole thing, or pick at individual chapters as and when you find the time. We'll fit in and around your schedule, and you get to set the pace.

You can refer back to chapters and hop around the course to your heart's content, though it'll probably make most sense to go from beginning to end. Your Coach account will keep track of what you've completed, so you can easily pick up where you've left off. It works across devices, so you can hop between different computers or even study on your phone using the same login.

At the end of the course you'll get a certificate of completion, which you can print out, turn into a t-shirt, print on a mug, post proudly on LinkedIn or tattoo on your back. You do you.
